Service Description

This workshop covers the administration and scoring of ADOS-2 Modules 1–4 through lecture, full-length video demonstrations, and guided scoring practice. Participants score administrations alongside a certified independent trainer, with detailed discussion of coding decisions after each demonstration. The aim is a working understanding of the instrument: how it was developed, what its psychometric properties do and don't support, how to select the right module for an individual's age and language level, and how to interpret results appropriately as one part of a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. This training is required for anyone planning to use the ADOS-2 in clinical or school settings, and is a prerequisite for the advanced / research workshop. As with any standardized instrument, additional practice with administration and scoring after the workshop is needed to build real competence.
