Laurie brings over 15 years of clinical, diagnostic, and research experience to her trainings. She is an associate professor at Washington State University and director of the Communication Development Lab in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.

Laurie completed her graduate work at Florida State University and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Pediatric and Developmental Neuroscience Branch at the National Institutes of Health.

As a certified independent trainer on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition, including the Toddler Module, Laurie provides training to professionals across the country.
